Enrolment Instructions

How to create an account:

  1. Click on “Log In” link at right top side of the screen.
  2. Click on “Create new Account” button.
  3. Fill out your details.
  4. Click “Create New Account”
  5. An email will be sent to the email address you provided in the form. Click on the link provided in the email to confirm your account. This will take you back to the college web site.
  6. You are now logged in to the site.

How to Enrol in a course

  1. If not already logged in, then please login.
  2. Click on "Site Home" on the left hand side navigation menu.
  3. Click on the link of one of the three courses:
    1. Essentials of Islam Hanafi (English) Module 4
    2. Essentials of Islam Shafi'ee (English) Module 4
    3. Essentials of Islam (Arabic) Module 4
  4. Click on the "Send payment via PayPal" button in the course page.
  5. Go through the PayPal payment by either logging in with your PayPal account or paying by credit card.
  6. Once payment is completed, click on "Return to Seller's Site" at bottom of screen.
  7. You will return to Dar Ibn Abbas College site and you should see a message confirming that you are enrolled to the course.
  8. Depending on which of the Essential courses you have enrolled in, you will automatically be enrolled in three "subject" courses of Fiqh, Aqidah and Tarbiyah.

  2. On the left hand side navigation menu, click on "Dashboard"

    This Essentials of Islam course aims to inform and educate students on the Essential Knowledge (Fardh ‘Ayn) required by every Muslim as outlined in the well known Hadith of Jibreel alaihissalam; Iman (Aqidah), Islam (Fiqh) and Ihsan (Tarbiyah).

    The course texts and delivery will be in Arabic.

    This course aims to inform and educate students on the essentials of Islamic theology and creed. Students will gain an understanding of the Attributes of God, the Most High, His Messengers, the Hereafter and matters of the Unseen, by way of transmitted and rational proofs, in accordance with the beliefs of Sunni Muslims.

    This is the final module of a four module course.

    This course is part of the following "Essentials of Islam" courses. Please enroll in one of them and you will automatically be enrolled in this course.

    1. Essentials of Islam Hanafi (English) Module 4.

    An introductory level class for those who wish to learn how to read the Qur'an with Tajweed. This course assumes familiarity with the Arabic alphabet and a basic reading proficiency.

    An intermediate level class for those who wish to learn how to read the Qur'an with tajweed. This course assumes a basic familiarity with tajweed rules and a basic reading proficiency.

    Memorise the Quran with a trained teacher.
